Last sunday night, (Monday morning actually) another interaction between my friends in twitter occured and The Rod Magaru Show topic was really out of nowhere. I am practically bored and trying to get some sleep but my timeline was so fast that I cant help but keep reading and tweeting! The engagement was pretty interesting. And it seems like everyone is so n the mood to respond with their observation. The topic was, at first I thought was subjective but later on most of the responses are quite valid. Though I have some reservation on how to react because at the end of the day, its still a public opinion.

And then I gave my own entry to make a fair engagement between them. So I answered, “that sometimes, There are news contents that are not news worthy.” I chose not to justify my response since my answer was practically self explanatory. However, some insights on some of the responses above.

1.) LOVETEAMS exist. And we may like it or not, Its the discretion of the Network based on research (Audience, ratings, Box office records, votes)

2.) Studio of Happy Yipee Yehey – I think I agree that it needs a major overhaul. period.

3.) Performances – Standards varies among the audience.

Most of the respondents are Kapamilya. And this concerns are I must admit, good feedback to the audience. All in all. We are talking of the most successful, largest broadcasting Network in the country. So there!
And anyone who wants to argue with that should justify its basis.

BENCH BILLBOARD: Philippine National Rugby Team (PHOTOS)

Last weekend as we are on our way to Araneta Coliseum for the Grand Finals of Pilipinas Got Talent of ABSCBN, I was stunned with the new Billboard along EDSA Guadalupe. At first I am not sure if these are the Askals group but upon learning that Philippine Volcanoes already signed up for Bench, I realized that maybe its the Philippine National Rugby Team.

Also known as the Philippine Volcanoes, 12 men signed up to endorse a retail brand Bench, owned by Ben Chan. they wre tapped to endorse the brand’s madly successful underwear line, Bench Body.

In 2008 the Philippines were ranked in Div 4 and now in 2011 they are competing and winning games in Division 1.

This is an incredible feat and the PRFU General Manager, Matt Cullen was impressed with the standard of play that the Philippines displayed at the tournament.

The Philippines National Rugby Union Team easily defeated Malaysia in the battle to stay in A5N Div 1 in Seoul Korea today with an 86 – 20 win.

This victory allows the Philippines to remain in the A5N Div 1 tournament in 2012 while Malaysia are now relegated to Div 2.

Breaking: The 2011 MMFF MOVIES Revealed!

Im sure everyone is waiting for the line up for the upcoming 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival! Im a big fan of this Local celebration of our Movie industry.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) executive committee actually have extended the submission of scripts for this year’s MMFF entries from May 30 to June 9. Without further ado, here are the movie titles that made it to the list of MMFF 2011! It seems like the forces of BOX OFFICE KING and QUEEN will be in one movie! Star Cinema’s Entry will surely give the audience the most coveted riot this December.

Shake Rattle is also now on its 13th movie while Kris Aquino and Dingdong dantes will be paired for the first time. Bong Revilla and JudyAnn Santos again will be a part of this years Film fest!
